Guideline for submissionGENERAL GUIDELINES Papers proposed for the XVIIth CIRS must be based on scientific work inspired by social representations theory. Proposals may be submitted in French, English or Spanish. You can send up to 2 proposals as first author for one of the three forms of communication: Symposium, Oral Communication or Poster. Please note that you must have or open a ccsd account (sciencesconf, episcience, hal) on the site and be logged in to submit a paper. Proposals should be submitted between 15 October and 10 January 2025 online on the conference website. Abstracts will be reviewed by an International Scientific Committee, which will decide whether or not to accept them.
TYPES OF PAPERS Each type of paper aims to discuss themes of general interest and of particular importance to the contemporary theoretical-methodological debate in the field of social representations, and must fit into one of the proposed themes.
Symposium Symposia are organised around a specific theme and bring together 4 or 5 speakers from at least two different institutions. The coordinator will introduce the symposium by a 10-minute presentation, which will be followed by a 15-minute presentation and a 5-minute discussion for each speaker. A coordinator, who may submit only one symposium, must manage each symposium. Oral presentations Oral communications are devoted to the presentation of theoretical, methodological or applied work in the field of the study of social representations. Sessions for the presentation of oral papers are organised by the Scientific Committee of the conference. Each paper will not exceed 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for the questions. Poster session Posters present theoretical, methodological or applied work in the field of social representations. The expected format for poster presentations is 84.1 x 118.9 cm.
Each proposal must not exceed 500 words (including bibliographical references) and must include 3 to 4 keywords. For symposia, a summary presenting the symposium should introduce the content and precede the abstracts of the papers making up the symposium. |
